The on-line Lecture Notes serve as out textbook.
However most of the topics we cover (see the course outline ) are covered (though often in less depth) in the book "Mathematics for Chemists" by D.M. Hirst, two copies of which are held at the Davis Centre Library Reserve Desk for in-library usage, under the Call Number QD42.H57x .

Final Grades

The grades were made up in the following way:
* The problem marks were summed and converted to a percentage.
* The grade was based on: 0.65*Exam + 0.20*Test + 0.15*Problems
